Design Principle...
Danfoss Voltage Vector Control(VVC) technology uses exclusive digital techniques and a 16-bit microprocessor to generate motor currents that are virtually identical to a pure sine wave. Compared to conventional Pulse Width Modulation, the motor current provided by Danfoss VVC is clearly more accurate. Deviation from the ideal sinusoidal wave shape means that the current to the motor contains harmonics of the fundamental frequency, resulting in added heat and reduced performance. With Danfoss Voltage Vector Control, unlike conventional PWM systems, motors do not require derating to account for performance losses and extra heat caused by harmonics. Danfoss harmonic currents are lower than other drive designs and therefore provide the lowest voltage distortion with less chance of disturbing other equipment. |
