Mechanical Seals

Mechanical SealThe most effective way to seal from a high pressure area to a low pressure area is with a mechanical seal. There are many types to choose from. Usually the type of pump and product being pumped and the operating conditions will dictate the seal most appropriate. Safety should always be a factor in specifying a mechanical seal. A mechanical seal is a device used in pumps and other rotating equipment to prevent leakage from around a rotating shaft from the equipment to the atmosphere.

Our experience and knowledge in pump industry standards, seal classifications, applications of different seals for different uses, and hands on experience offers our customers the right seal, installed correctly for long life. We offer customer training in both seal and packing installation and maintenance as well as trouble shooting seal or packing failures.
