AST RESERVOIR FOR DUAL MECHANICAL SEALS

The AST reservior supplies a clean buffer/barrier liquid to a dual mechanical seal without an expensive piping system. Since the AST80 dual cartridge seal has a double balanced inboard seal, the reservoir may be pressurized for tandem seal service. Reservoirs can extend the life of dual seals by furnishing a clean barrier liquid which lubricates and cools the seal faces.

- 1/2 NPT connections on bottom of tanks
- Armored tubular level guage standard
- Two 1/2 NPT ports for seal supply and return
- Two 3/4 NPT ports for optional level switches
- 1/2 NPT drain and vent ports, 1″ NPT fill port.
- 1/2 UNC weld nuts on back for mounting
